What is the meaning of being an emerging artist, What implications the term “emerging” has and how can the art market influence the artist’s career and life path? 

Well I think that we don’t decide when and if the market will pay attention to our work or for how long it will do.
So if You are an emerging artist, artist in a mid career or a regular artist with own style it really doesn’t matter in the art market. For example, some gallerists, curators, employers they might care about your back story or not. It means how far you have come in your career. On the other hand is all about meaning of your art, aesthetic, execution of the project etc.
So it means You can be noticed very quickly or not.
In my opinion the word ”emerging” seems to mean beginning, unknown..
Emerging artist is the person who is still in the process of finding one’s style.
I think that one definition doesn’t exist though. You might be emerging artists for ages or not. In my opinion this is a relative concept. For some people it might be a commercial term and for others a psychological fact. In my opinion everything depend on how your career goes on and how You call it.
